Church End Green
Haddenham
The traditional Haddenham Village Fete will take place on Church End Green, Saturday 14th June, 12.30pm— 4.30pm.
All the much-loved attractions will feature, plus some new ones to enjoy. The event raises much needed funds for local good causes.
Street food, Pimms & beer tent, ice creams and afternoon teas.
The Fete will be opened by former HYFC player Benjamin Chivers!
Benji is currently enjoying success as an actor here and in the US. He first received critical acclaim in the role of Isaac alongside Peter Capaldi in Amazon Prime’s 'The Devil’s Hour', for which he was nominated for a National TV Award. He has also appeared in Ridley Scott’s 'Napoleon,' TV favourites 'Doctor Who' and 'Casualty' and Guy Ritchie’s 'Fountain of Youth.' All this at the tender age of 12!
HYFC will be there supporting the Fete and other good causes during the day. Come and see us for a special 'Beat the Goalie' challenge!
The Fete Committee is keen to recruit helpers on the day. To volunteer, please email the Committee here.
Over the past 25 years Haddenham Village Fete is proud to have donated more than £126,000 in support of local charities and not-for-profit village initiatives. Ahead of the Fete, significant funds are raised through sponsorship and advertising. On the day, sales of raffle tickets for entry into the prize draw, pitch fees from stall holders and tea and cake sales all add to the funds.
The Fete profit is in addition to the money raised on the day by the stall holders for their individual charities, businesses, organisations and schools. Special thanks are due this year to Principal Sponsors, Redrow at the Maltings and Haddenham Park Residential Home. Thanks are also due: DAF Trucks, Lancasters Accountants, Haddenham Dental Centre, Haddenham Garden Centre, Decorare and Studiosvn.
