Haddenham Youth Football Club’s season curtain raiser is set to take place across the weekend of Saturday 31st August/Sunday 1st September 2024.

The Festival of Football will see over 100 local teams joining HYFC players for the Club’s flagship fundraising event at Haddenham Airfield.

Around 1,000 young players from Thame to Marlow, Aylesbury to Maidenhead will participate in the friendly Festival, joined by coaches and families.

More Girls’ teams are taking part in this year's event underlining the commitment HYFC is making to expanding Girls’ football backed by the Haddenham Beer Festivals Trust.

The Club will shortly reveal more Festival Partners which are supporting the 2024 event.

Visiting teams will park on Haddenham Business Park, thanks to the support of DAF, IPro Solutions Ltd and SkyHawke Technologies UK Ltd. A large team of Festival volunteers will help visitors find their way to parking and onto the pitches. PSP (AV rental and technical production) is supporting the event again, ensuring it runs smoothly with a professional level PA and radio communications system.

HYFC volunteers will be serving refreshments from the Match Hatch at Airfield Pavilion, supported by a small number of local vendors.

“Our Festival of Football is a great way to kick off the season for clubs in our area as well as an opportunity to raise funds and showcase the fantastic community spirit that runs through our Club and village.”
