Hawks finished on the wrong side of the result today despite a competitive performance. After defending well in the first half, Hawks took the lead through Harry L, who finished confidently after a quick breakaway move for his second goal of the season. Tring responded before half-time to level the score.

In the second half, Hawks created several good opportunities. Teddy found the net following a well-worked team move, although the goal was ruled out for an offside at the other end of the pitch! Isaac also came close with a long-range effort that struck the crossbar.

As the game progressed, Tring made good use of their chances on the counter-attack to secure the result. There were plenty of positives for Hawks to take from the performance, particularly in their defensive work and chance creation.

Well done to Tring, and we wish them all the best for the season ahead.
