The Haddenham Lions all worked tirelessly against a peek-form Thatcham side. From the off, Haddenham's relentless determination was clear to see and our defence was on point, not letting any of the oppositions power plays and formations get through. We looked dangerous when we got up the pitch, with a number of on-shot targets that their keeper kept at bay. But they couldn't hold off Jess's golden boot as she slipped another inspiring volley from near the halfway line, watching it drop into the back of the net like a dream. With a few minutes left on the clock we unfortunately levelled which led to nail-biting penalties. Kimrath smashed the first one in and Guki calmly kept all 3 of the Thatcham's mighty efforts at bay to bring home the win for the Haddenham Lions!
