For our U7 age group, we are trialling a new festival format designed around the FA's upcoming 3v3 game model.

A detailed guidance document has been produced for coaches and Festival volunteers, covering:

• The overall Festival format and objectives.
• Pitch layouts and mini-game arrangements.
• Squad organisation using colour groups to maximise participation.
• Match rules and restart guidance.
• Coach responsibilities and Festival expectations.
• Support for teams attending with different squad sizes.
• Warm-up activities and player development guidance.
• Full event schedule, timings and pitch allocations.
• Colour rotation formats to ensure varied opposition.
• Guidance on creating a positive, fun and inclusive environment for all players.

The document has been designed to help ensure that every child receives plenty of playing time, enjoys a wide variety of football experiences, and benefits from a Festival environment that prioritises development and participation over results.
